Welcome

…….to our ongoing developing website.  Some of our pages are still under construction but the basic information you need is all there.

Above is a combined image of four separate photos – the post-scaffolding phase of the Rosewood UC (so this image has a re-painted front door – note the wood covering the side windows);  a photo of the external sign which tells folk when the Worship begins; an image of the bell tower taken in 2019 while sunset was falling; and the cross which stands outside the Walloon UC.

ROSEWOOD SUNDAY MORNING WEEKLY WORSHIP IS FROM 9.00am
WALLOON EVENING WORSHIP IS ON 1st + 3rd SUNDAYS FROM 5.30pm

We are one of the semi-rural group of congregations within the Bremer-Brisbane Presbytery.

Rosewood Uniting Church is actually two geographically close congregations that work together and share a Minister.

The two congregational areas are:-

Rosewood          +          Walloon

Individual details on each of these congregations can be found by clicking on the highlighted name which will take you to a ‘link’ page.

The Rosewood Congregation has adopted a Mission Statement for the next few years at least, and this can be seen on the Mission Statement page.

The Bremer- Brisbane Presbytery has a vision statement too –
‘Building Healthy Christian Communities Living God’s Mission’

and, the Queensland Synod has numerous themes as part of its ‘Project Plenty’ process.

The ‘totem artwork’ above are the known identifiers of the three major tribal influences in the Ipswich Region.
